Warning ! Solution to Google Da Vinci code Quest # 1

This game is based on the popular Sudoku puzzle. In this puzzle, the numbers 1-4 are replaced by symbols taken from Da Vinci Code
Approach
1. The key is to try to meet the third requirement first… which is to make sure that all symbols in the shaded region are distinct.
2. Approach shaded region # 1 on top right.. the reddish looking color. Since two symbols are already placed and can’t be moved, place the other two symbols making sure you think of the other two requirements, that symbol on each row and column must be unique.
3. Next, approach the shaded region on the bottom right, the light brown color. Two symbols are already laced and can’t be moved, place the other two symbols making sure you think of the other two requirements, that symbol on each row and column must be unique.
4. Next, approach the third row. Three symbols are already placed. Place the unique symbol.
5. Next, approach the second row. Three symbols are already placed. Place the unique symbol.
6. Next, approach the shaded region on the top left, the light greenish looking color. This is tricky since all colums have just two symbols filled. However, on the first row, we have a symbol on the right hand side and on the second row, we have a symbol in the first column. Fill in the three other symbols making sure that they are unique.
7. Once you do that, the last part is easy. Just fill in the the bottom row, taking care that each symbol is unique in each column and you are all set.
Once the puzzle is solved, we get a congratulatory message that it has been solved.
We are asked an additional question. ” Please name the symbol on Robert Langdon( pitured at the left) “

However, i found the final answer on Wikipedia
You will FIND the answer if you search for the correct keyword SYMBOL.

i got the puzzle finished early but got stuck on the name of the symbol.your hints on searching symbol in wiki was proved very useful XD

If you go to Sony’s site select “Robert Langdon” from the first drop down menu (on the top) and go to the next page and see in the middle you will see a Pyramid shape. Move your mouse over and go to the bottom of the page they have explanation of that symbol

I just completed the 2nd quest. The symbol shown on his face is called the Greek Cross. I forget how I completed the puzzle though.
